Ingredients:
1 cup (240 ml) milk
1 cup (200 g) sugar
4 large eggs
1 cup (125 g) all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
½ cup (115 g) melted butter (or vegetable oil)
1 tsp vanilla extract
A pinch of salt
Instructions:
Preheat oven:
Set to 170°C (340°F). Grease a rectangular baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
Mix wet ingredients:
In a bowl, whisk together eggs and sugar until light and slightly foamy.
Add melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
Add dry ingredients:
In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until smooth and lump-free.
Bake:
Pour the batter into your prepared pan and spread evenly.
Bake for 35–45 minutes, or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool and serve:
Let it cool slightly before slicing.
You can drizzle it with warm milk or condensed milk for extra softness and flavor.
